Making Money From My Dorm

You know I often find that people hear the words, “Network Marketing” or “MLM” (Multi-Level Marketing) and immediately jump to the conclusion that it’s a scam.

I have a major bone to pick with these guys.

You see my dad (an honest and ethical man) has been involved with Network Marketing for well over the last decade and he’s been extremely successful.

Now that I’m older I’m also involved in a great Network Marketing company.

I mean, the truth is, yes, there are some bad MLM companies out there  - but that’s true of all companies. (Enron anyone?) Here’s my argument - when you eat at a bad restaurant you don’t stop eating at ALL restaurants, do you?

No. That’s crazy.

There may be some duds out there but for the most part MLM or Network Marketing is an honest opportunity for the entrepreneurial-minded individual.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the college life and it seems like being broke is just kinda the “college” thing to do. But that’s really not who I am. I don’t like working a job because I don’t see any future in it. If you want to make real money - serious money - then you gotta own your own business.

Bill Gates recently retired from the day-to-day operations of Microsoft. Do you think his check went down? I guarantee you that it didn’t. Right now his check is growing, because his business is still growing.

So the entrepreneurial bug’s got a hold of me and I’m not lettin’ it go anytime too soon.

Cause the alternative isnt something I want to be a part of me.
